We could not be more excited to be back, hosting our Soccer Camp in-person this summer! While we enjoyed the challenge of VBS Online, we can’t wait to see kids in person, on the field, having fun and learning about soccer and the amazing love of God!

As you might expect, the soccer camp is going  to look a little bit different this year. But, we are confident that even with our few minor adjustments, your kids are going to have a great week!

What to Expect

  • Registration will be done here on our website, with the exception of collecting fees and Parent/Guardian Release form, which will be done on the first morning.

  • $55 Registration fee will include: the cost of the camp, t-shirt, soccer ball and backpack.  The fee can be paid in cash or cheque. Please put the registration form and payment in an envelope and drop it off at the church.  You can also send payment via email transfer to tbchilltopkids@gmail.com. If the church is closed, you can drop it in our secure mailbox. Please note that your child's spot is not confirmed until we receive payment. This is so to ensure your child will be attending the camp.

  • We will be registering up to 50 kids and will be divided into 3 cohort groups.

  • Each morning will begin on the field with Team Leaders and Helpers guiding their teams through basic soccer skills and playing games in a non-competitive environment. Then, each cohort will take a spot in our parking lot for our story time and other activities. We will be featuring action packed songs, drama and Bible lessons about God’s love!

  • We think it’s going to be a great week, and we’d love to have your kids join us! Click below to register.

  • Still have questions? At the bottom of this page, you’ll find some frequently asked questions, which might help.

Frequently Asked Questions

What will be done to help keep our kids and volunteers safe during VBS?

The health and safety of kids and volunteers is very important to us. Here are the measures we’re taking to ensure everyone’s safety:

For Kids

  • Kids will be divided into 3 cohort groups. These Teams will have minimal interaction with one another

  • Parents will drop their kids at the designated field, and will be required to answer a few questions about their kids’ regarding COVID safety by our team. We might have an electronic thermometer to measure temperature before entering the field.

  • Each kid will receive their own ball.

  • If snacks are distributed, they will be individually wrapped, prepackaged, and handed out by one person. Kids will also be required to bring their own water bottles clearly labelled.

  • Parking lot area will be cleaned and sanitized every day. In the case of rain, we will have designated areas inside the building which will be properly cleaned and sanitized as necessary.

  • Masks will be required to be worn by kids indoors that are in Grade 4 or older (9 years old as of December 31, 2021). Kids in grades K to 3 are encouraged to wear a mask indoors, but are not required to do so.

For Volunteers

  • All Volunteers will be required to complete a Health Check before each program begins.

  • All Volunteers will be required to wear face masks indoors.

Are parents allowed to stay at the camp and watch their kids play soccer?

  • Due to Provincial Health Guidelines, Parents/Guardians are not allowed to stick around, once their kids have been dropped off.

  • If your child requires extra attention during drop off, we are allowed a small buffer of 10-15 minutes for Parents/Guardians to ensure their child is comfortable, but then parents must leave the field, unless restrictions change.
